IC Information: Name: Preincarnation: Ezreal
Reincarnation: Ezekiel "Ez" Jordan
Canon and medium: League of Legends - Video Game
Age: 16 (approximately accurate to the canon incarnation which is unspecified)
Preincarnation Species: Human with high inherent magical ability
Preincarnation Appearance:
Any differences: Not in basic appearance, he doesn't wear the goggles anymore (yet anyway) and tends to wear regular t-shirts and jeans, likely often with snarky remarks or nerdy references on them.
Starting Location: Locke City, NJ
Preincarnated History: Ezreal is a highly gifted young man, both in intellect and magic power. Being a child genius, he was placed in a prestigious academy in the magitech city-state of Piltover. By age 8, he had fully mapped the tunnels beneath Piltover, a service so great he was named the Grandmaster Explorer of Piltover. This gave him the funding and support that allowed him to pursue his passion for archaeology.
While on a dig, Ezreal uncovered a powerful amulet that would change his life. Made for a being easily twice his size, the amulet gave him the power to shape magic itself. With his inherent ability this amulet gives him a great deal of power with comparatively little effort or focus into his magical ability. However, the amulet is also highly attuned to Summoner Magic, which meant Ezreal could be occasionally (or constantly going by how often he is played in the game itself) be summoned into the Fields of Justice to fight under the command of a Summoner trying to resolve disputes within the realm of Valoran that would formerly be resolved by all-out war. Ezreal naturally has no interest in these conflicts, but the use of the amulet in his eyes is well worth it.
Ezreal has had a number of adventures and is well-traveled and well-read. One of his most notable discoveries is tracing the legends of the Darklin Aatrox, a figure who has appeared throughout Valoran's history, swooping in to save a losing side and inciting such bloodlust in the soldiers that they decimate to the point of near-genocide the enemy side.

http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Ezreal/BackgroundReincarnated History: Ezreal was always an intelligent child. With his parents dying in an accident when he was 2, he moved in with his uncle, an Anthropologist by trade. With his uncle still working in the field, young Ezreal had a lot of exposure living in other countries. Ezreal has spent time in Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, Bangladesh and China and has a good degree of fluency in Thai, Mandarin, Cantonese, Indonesian, Bangla, and Khmer.
When Ezreal turned 7, his uncle returned to the states to compile his research documents and settled in Locke city. Although he had spent much of his life abroad, Ezreal adapted quickly, polishing his English and gaining acceptance into gifted programs at school. While Ezreal excelled in school, he generally found it to be boring and unchallenging. While he can perform well, he tends to blow off his assignments, underperforming in school despite being in the most challenging programs available.
Ezreal's relationship with his uncle is a bit interesting, he respects and admires his uncle and hopes to follow in his footsteps, but his uncle is a bit of an eccentric fellow and they have an easy, snarky cameraderie with each other. His uncle is proud of his budding archaeologist nephew and has no real desire to be a proper parent. Ezreal is pretty much left to do as he pleases so long as he doesn't interrupt his uncle's work or get into any serious trouble. With his uncle's work and academic grants the two live comfortably in a modest home that is cluttered with artifacts and curios from around the world. Ezreal is comfortable, but the call of wanderlust gnaws at him.
Currently, Ezreal is a student at the Locke City High School. He is in most of the gifted and advanced programs, but his grades are middling due to his disinterest in traditional school work. Though his is very intelligent, he doesn't really try all that hard in class. He spends much of his spare time watching a number of his favorite shows, gaming with his friends or exploring the city and getting into places he really isn't supposed to be, such as abandoned buildings and cave networks.
From prior in-game history: Upon receiving his numbers, Ez did a few things within Locke leading up to the confrontation with the Wise Snake. He met Luci Edwards, with whom he discovered a shared pre-incarnated history and the two quickly became inseparable.
He and Luci went to investigate the Tuning Towers, but didn't find much although he did acquire the first of his former powers in the form of an amulet and its ability to shape his inherent magic.
At a Halloween party, they encountered the Vermaxi, which he helped hold off with his growing recovered abilities.
Not long thereafter, he and Luci went into the caves, unleashing their ultimate attacks to help save some friends from a giant snake statue.
Following that, Ezreal's uncle had to make an urgent trip to China to examine and help ID some artifacts in the path of a build site, and as Ez is a minor he had no choice but to go along. Leaving Locke removed his echoes, but the business has since concluded and with his return to Locke, so too have returned his echoes.
First Echo: Around when people were down in the mines (per the recent early-to-mid August timeline events), Ezreal was down their himself. While he didn't encounter the bats and vermidi found there, he was close to the action and it triggered a physical echo, giving Ezreal the maps he created of the underground tunnels beneath Piltover which he found while rummaging through his uncle's artifacts.
Other Echoes can be found on his Info Page
herePreincarnation Personality: Ezreal is a cocky free-spirited adventurer with a strong independent streak and a major ego. A born wanderer, he enjoys academic pursuits to a degree but typically has no patience for more standard scholarly pursuits. He wants to be in the action, exploring, researching and uncovering hidden lore for himself.
Ezreal was an accomplished explorer and boy genius, having earned major recognition by one of the powerful City States of Valoran at the age of 8. He's very much aware of this fact, and is quick to remind others of it as well. If he is summoned to the Field of Justice he doesn't really take it seriously, having little interest in the struggles to begin with. He will taunt his foes and talk down to them, touting his own intellect and ability and their lack thereof. He has a particular dislike for the people of Noxus, disdaining their brutal and violent outlook on life.
As an archaeologist, Ezreal is very talented. He has a keen eye for details and artifacts and will doggedly follow a mystery to its source. He was the first to uncover and connect the dots of the major cultural impact the Darklin Aatrox has had on Valoran's history and conflicts by following artifacts all over the world. Fearless and confident in his pursuit, Ezreal has the dedication to follow through and the knowledge and patience to compile his scholarly work. While he's not necessarily fond of hitting the books, when it comes to it he can do so with great skill.
Despite all of this, Ezreal is still a teenager. He is given to typical overconfident bravado, and is still quite bashful when it comes to the subject of women. Ezreal has become quite close to Luxanna Crownguard of the esteemed Demacian Crownguard family, but while the rumors are flying he is quick to deny and hide the evidence. He definitely seems fond of the daughter of the Crownguards, but lacks the confidence, ironically, to be straight with his feelings.
Any differences: While Ezreal, or Ez as he is known in this life still has his unquenchable wanderlust and great natural genius, he is a bit more typical to the day and age. Since he doesn't have the luxury of exploring and following his passion, he has turned to fiction to sate his need for adventure.
Ez is an enormous fan of anime, games and movies. He is president of his school's D&D club and can recite all three (and the only three as far as he is concerned) Indiana Jones movies essentially in verbatim.
Because of his interests, he's a bit less confident than he was in his past life. Somewhat awkward and painfully nerdy, he is a bit shy and considered odd by many of his peers. Whereas in his past life he was very popular in Valoran, his exploits being the stuff of legend in some areas, here he is more likely to be ignored, forgotten, or shoved into a locker.
As obviously there is no magic, Ez's talents have manifested in other areas. He's good with his hands and enjoys sketching (an important talent for archeologists) and crafts, usually creating elaborate maps for his tabletop and wargaming. Since he is restricted in life, he has thrown himself fully into the realm of fantasy. He dreams of being a famous and talented adventurer and though he doesn't exactly admit it his childhood dream of, essentially, being Indiana Jones is still very much alive. He'd never admit it but a thorough search of his room might find recent drawings of himself as Indiana Jones.
Abilities: http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/EzrealEzreal has a high inherent magic capacity, but he lacks intensive study and development. What he does have, however, is his amulet, that lets him shape magic to his will. Theoretically this gives him a wide variety of skills and abilities. He doesn't necessarily do a lot of damage when he attacks, but he specializes at attack rapidly from all angles, bringing people down through speed moreso than power. What is known is as follows:
Rising Spell Force: Ezreal attacks with magic bolts from his amulet, and as he attacks he builds in power and attacks with increasing speed.
Mystic Shot: Ezreal fires a bolt of energy striking with physical power and making it easier for him to launch his other abilities.
Essence Flux: Ezreal fires a wave of wave of energy that strikes with mystic power and passes through its targets. It also enhances any allies it passes through, not damaging them but instead allowing them to attack with greater speed.
Arcane Shift: Ezreal teleports a short distance and launches a bolt of mystic energy that homes in on a nearby enemy.
Trueshot Barrage: Ezreal charges his amulet and fires a massive bolt of magic energy shaped like a giant crescent that passes through enemies and travels a great distance, doing great damage.
The amulet's potency is generally undefined, but someone as intelligent and creative as Ezreal could probably use it to enhance a lot of his personal capabilities and talents. As an explorer, it would most come in handy with the ability to teleport and avoid dangerous items, as well as shape material and items into a more useful form or charge items with magic.Roleplay Sample - Third Person: Ez idly twirled his pen in his hand, glancing over the history test with disinterest. "Boring, boring boring, factually oversimplified, wrong, who writes these things?" he muttered under his breath, idly filling out the test with sharp, precise pen-strokes. Within minutes he was done, and he could go back to his favorite past-time, staring out of the window and wishing he was literally anywhere else.
Unfortunately, watching the clouds go by only seemed to make his restlessness more unbearable. Tearing his eyes away from the outside he glanced over the rest of his class, his lip instinctively curling into a bit of a sneer as he saw the big ape Jimmy, who had just hours before had been slamming him into the lockers struggle with the first question.
Sighing he looked up at the ceiling. What was he doing here? It was such a waste of time. He wanted to be up. Doing something important. Interesting. Heroic even? Whatever.
Finally, his eyes landed on the clock. Four hours to go. His head hit the desk with an audible thunk, drawing an irate look from his teacher. Ez wasn't sure he was going to make it that long.
Roleplay Sample - Network: Hey guys. So. Since everyone around here is the mystic reincarnation of ancient heroes or whatever, I was thinking we should swap stories. I've been scouring myths and legends from all over the world but I haven't found any mention to half of the crazy things you guys can do.
If we pool our knowledge and what we remember, we might get some interesting clues into who we were. Who knows, we may even have known each other! I know there are some great stories out there and I want to make sure they get recorded. Who knows how long we'll have access to them, you know?
I've already started compiling some histories, and it's really interesting. It's like there are whole other worlds contained in our heads, and we're the only ones who hold the secret to unlocking them. I think it's important that we preserve this. If you're interested, let me know, ok?
Any Questions? Think I'm good!
